During the course of this month, we will continue our topic on winter. We will be learning about forest animals and hibernation, as well as about animals that live in cold places.
Here are some fun activities we plan working on: exploring with real ice and snow outside, making pretend snow for our sensory exploration, playing in a pretend igloo, painting winter scenes, and making paper animal crafts.
The featured book for this month is going to be The Biggest, Best Snowman by Margery Cuyler. It is a story about winter fun and friendship, and about how we can accomplish things if we have family and friends on our side.
As we will continue to take the children outside, weather permitting, please remember to bring appropriate clothing such as: a warm coat, snow pants and boots, gloves, hat.
Have a wonderful rest of the winter!
