March is supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb. Our little ones have told me they are hoping for spring to arrive soon, so hopefully their wishes will be fulfilled as soon as possible! As we continue working on all of our skills, we will be looking for signs of warmer weather. We will be reading books about flowers and birds, as well as exploring feathers, sand, leaves, and petals.
We are looking forward to a fun month!
This month we will be making individual handprints to put up in our room.
SOME SIDE THOUGHTS
As they grow, infants and toddlers begin to recognize and respond to the people around them, and form secure relationships with trusted adults. Spending time engaging with your child, then, is clearly the best way to help your child set the foundation for healthy interpersonal relationships.
Here are some books you can share with your children:
Smile by Roberta Grobel
I Love You, Baby, from Head to Toe by Karen Pandell
All by Myself by Mercer Mayer
On the Day I was Born by Deborah Newton Chocolate
