Welcome to fall!
It is an exciting time of year with many new experiences for many of the children. They get to discover everything that happens this time of year, from the weather getting colder to the leaves falling from the trees, which will be what we will be focusing on this October: letting the children discover the many different leaf textures and colors.
Another exciting event is Halloween. To celebrate, we will be decorating pumpkins and exploring the interior of the pumpkin as an exercise in sensory perception! These activities are definitely going to be a blast! Keeping with the fall theme, we will be also working on our gross motor skills, rolling and tumbling like pumpkins.
Please remember to bring warmer clothes for the cooler mornings, as well as thinner clothes the kids can be changed into during uncharacteristically warm days.
We are going to be decorating a class pumpkin to make our room more festive for Halloween!
Relationships are the way babies start to know the world and their place in it. Relationships for young children develop social and emotional wellness, which includes the ability to form satisfying relationships with others, play, communicate, learn, face changes, and experience emotions. In addition, nurturing relationships are crucial for the development of trust, empathy, compassion, generosity and conscience.
