Conferences went well last month and I'm excited to take into account everything we talk about as I plan our activities for the future. As always, if you ever have a question or concern in regards to your child's development, please feel free to discuss it with Ms. Melyssa at any time.
After this long, grueling winter and kind of silly spring, this May we will be spending as much time outdoors as possible and bringing our activities to the playground when we can. You might have noticed that we have been growing "beans in bags" in our window, which we can't wait to finally plant!
The wonderful spring and early summer weather will also allow us to try out new art activities and engage in sensory exploration and scientific experimentation outside. Please remember to send in a new bottle of sunscreen for your child as soon as possible. If you would like your child to wear a hat when we go outside, please send one in. The sun can still reach the head even with a little bit of hair, so it's always better to be protected!
Following up on last month's request, we are still accepting donations of cleaned out recyclable materials for our kitchen area! Items we are looking for include plastic containers, metal cans with no sharp edges, mixing bowls, small pots, etc. Thank you and have a wonderful month of May!
