I just want to thank all of our wonderful families for participating in our Halloween part and turning it into another success. I realize everyone is busy and getting these extra items can be costly and time consuming, but is so appreciated! It is such a joy to have your little ones excelling and progressing every day! If you would ever like to discuss any novel ideas or concerns, call us at your convenience or stop by for a one on one talk with our teachers or our director some time.
During these cold months, please do not forget snow pants, boots, hats and mittens. An extra set of clothes should be in the bag every day; it is the only way to be sure that the children will be in dry, warm outfits at all points. Please also remember to bring in extra socks; our extra clothes have been going fast.
We will soon be starting our Christmas projects-it might take more than a few weeks to complete them, so please be patient with us. Thanksgiving is a great time for all precious turkey handprints, so we will be dedicating some time to making those as well.
During Thanksgiving month, it’s important to remember we have so much to be thankful for.
Learning how to give thanks for a toddler is instilled by the people they are surrounded by; if they hear thanks and expressions of appreciation they will learn to propagate these positive behaviors. Remember it is never too early to be a good example to our children and never too late for that.
For myself, I am incredibly thankful for getting to take care of your children. Getting to teach them to become successful, kind children and later adults is more fulfilling than I ever could have imagined.
