Welcome to Spring!
What will we be working on this month?
In language and literacy we will be working on rhyming words. Dr. Seuss should prove to be a useful resource! For motor skills, we will primarily be focusing on learning how to better grip and manipulate writing utensils. We will also be experimenting with mixing different types of play dough for use in our classroom. In math, we plan on learning how to better count with the use of units. And in music and movement, we will be expressing ourselves by trying to stick to music holding a steady beat.
Our themes this month will center on famous children’s books’ authors.
Week 1: Don and Audrey Woods
Week 2: Ezra Keats
Week 3: Dr. Seuss
Week 4: Eric Carle
Throughout the month we will be using key developmental indicators to better enhance our kids’ development and growth through activities.
Birthday fun (and other kinds of fun)!

Our main focuses this month will be Dr. Seuss’s birthday, the weather, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and spring in general. We will also be focusing on the color green and the shape of the triangle.
